Solid Panel Doors

The Speakeasy collection of solid ThermaPlus doors offer a range of solid doors with operable speakeasy grilles. Clavos (decorative door nails) are an option for these doors. See below for grille and clavo options.

Hand-forged Iron Speakeasy Grilles and Clavos

The solid panel doors shown in this section include a “speakeasy” installed into the door. This speakeasy provides a small, operable rectangular door installed in the upper door panel at a height of approximately 5’-6”. This small door-within-a-door is hinged and latched from the interior side of the door. The speakeasies are available with four standard wrought iron grille designs (see below right). To complement these speakeasy grilles, clavos may be added on the door. The speakeasies and any additional clavos will be prefinished to match the door.
